To determine the most optimal lot size for you to trade with, you would need a calculator for risk management. Some online forex brokers even offer a smaller lot size than the micro lot in forex trades, which is known as a nano lot, and which is used for buying or selling multiples of 100 units of base currency. Both of these smaller lot sizes will tend to appeal to: In the context of forex trading, a lot refers to a batch of currency the trader controls. The lot size is variable. Typical designations for lot size include standard lots, mini lots, and micro lots. It is important to note that the lot size directly impacts and indicates the amount of risk you're taking.
